Cavemen
If you've checked out the doodles bit of the site you probably noticed lots of drawings of neanderthals and other ancient humans. It will come as no surprise then that I've been trying to think of storylines to use with those characters. Here are two ideas I've started on:

AAAAAHHHH! Untitled
This is a story or stories about a group of four indivduals (Einstugg, Ogga, Mugg and Nell) as they wander around during the most recent Ice Age. I'm aiming for something a bit like Asterix and Obelix in that it's based on history but only loosely.
I'm about halfway through drawing all the scenes for the first story (How they all meet up) so expect some finished frames soon!
(Click the picture to the left, or the title to find out more juicy details about the characters).
This is a concept that I have very little idea what to do with. What I want to do is a story about a group of Homo sapiens sapiens during the most recent Ice age and portray, as accurately as we know, their social organisation, hunting and gathering strategies etc. Unfortunatley kinship diagrams and subsistence strategy don't exactly make for riveting storylines. Initially I thought about adding Zombies in again but decided not to, partly because I've done it twice already and also because population densities at the time would not reallly be enough to make a serious infestation. So it's back to the drawing board..
Below is a picture of some possible characters, maybe a small tribe, when I get a plotline or at least some characterisation maybe they'll get a page of their own.
